Shahzeb Khan's murder: Police arrest prime suspect's security guard... by The Express Tribune

Police arrested the security guard of Shahrukh Jatoi, the prime suspect in Shahzeb Khan’s murder, Express News reported on Monday.

The guard was moved to an undisclosed location for further interrogation, however, the police said that a case had not been registered against him yet.

The police added that no weapon was seized from his possession.
Shahzeb was killed allegedly by Shahrukh Jatoi near Mubarak Masjid in DHA on Tuesday night. The killing resulted from a small argument he had with Nawab Siraj Talpur, when the latter’s servant verbally harassed his sister.

Talpur and his friend, Jatoi, allegedly followed Shahzeb and shot him.

Jatoi’s uncle has rejected allegations against his nephew.

At a press conference held in Sukkur, Subedar Khan Jatoi, the brother of Sikander Ali Jatoi whose son Shahrukh Jatoi is a key suspect in the case, claimed the allegations against his nephew were false.

He maintained Shahrukh did not know either Shahzeb or Nawab Siraj Talpur, the second suspect in the murder.

According to police sources, the police team sent from Karachi to investigate Shahzeb’s murder raided a house in Dadu following a tipoff regarding the suspects’ whereabouts.
Despite being surrounded, Shahrukh and Talpur managed to evade capture and fled the area.
